From idea to completion—many parts, many potential paths. I happened on a pop-up book in the studio library. Not one for little kids, but a book designed to enchant adults. And it did. It took many days, and many YouTubes to suss out the engineering behind the imaginative 3D constructions and I was hooked. Another several days to try my hand at building models of some of the simpler structures. But what would this book be about? And out of nowhere, The Pink Tree filled my head. So I started printing. And literally one page led to another.
You are looking at two page spreads that will be folded when the book is assembled. Probably doesn’t make much sense now. Be patient. More will come.
