Monotypes, Woodcuts, and Graffiti

I’m back at the grind–exploring new imagery and new methods. After 4 months of rest, I think I have a direction. Loving the experiment with Japanese hand print techniques. Trying new paints, too–akua liquid colors. Have used that brand of intaglio inks and like them. These liquids seem to be working just fine for monotypes and woodcuts.

Reductive woodcuts are my passion.

Even having to print a series to make the effort of carving the plate is fine.

And here’s the block at its last state.
